Globalink, Ltd. is a Nevada company whose shares are traded on OTC (OTC:GOBK).
Globalink has a hotel booking business based in Vancouver, British, Columbia since 2008. In 2014, Globalink added some Chinese new investors who also brought their knowledge, experience, extensive connections and business opportunities in both China and North America. Currently, Globalink focuses on developing ginkgo plantation and carrying related research and development in China.
On May 4, 2014, the Company entered into a joint venture agreement with Shizheng Bio-Technology Co., Ltd. ("Shizhen Biotech") in Jiangsu Province, China. On May 22, 2014, Gloablink (Xuzhou) Bio-Technology Co., Ltd. ("Globalink Xuzhou") was incorporated in Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province, China pursuant to the joint venture agreement. Globalink Xuzhou will be involved in the the business of biological sciences and technology popularization services, and fruit and vegetable distribution. In 2015, Gloablink Xuzhou started to develop a ginkgo plantation in Pizhou City, the hometown of ginkgo biloba growing in China, the area of which provides about 70% of ginkgo leave supply in China.
On October 13, 2015, the Company incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary, Globalink (Zhejiang) Bio-Technology Co., Ltd. ("Globalink Zhejiang") in Ningbo City, Jiangsu Province, China. Globalink Zhejiang will be involved in the research, development, cultivation, extraction, and application of ginkgo trees and other economic plants. Globalink Zhejiang entered into a Technology Development Service Agreement in January 2016 with Zhejiang Pharmaceutical College with a term of three years. Pursuant to the development agreement, the college will conduct research and development on induction of callus of ginkgo leaves and extraction, and identification of flavone and lactone therefrom. The success of the project will significantly increase the production of ginkgo leaves and the effective ingredients contained therein.
Mr. Hin Kwok Sheung is an experienced businessman with extensive knowledge and experience in import & export, logistics and storage businesses, commercial real estate development and investment, and other types of project investment.
Mr. Sheung received a Bachelor of Arts Degree (in Linguistics majoring in Russian) from the University of Heilongjiang in 1972. For 9 years commencing 1973, Mr. Sheung worked at the export and marketing department of Zhejiang Provincial Government, responsible for exporting products. In 1984, Mr. Sheung established Hengli Trading Company Ltd. (“Hengli”) in HongKong. Hengli is involved in the international trading of silk and textile products. Mr. Sheung acted as Hengli’s CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors for 10 years.
In the early 1990's, Mr. Sheung returned to the mainland China market by investing in various projects such as property development, textile manufacturing, and sea port storage facilities. In mid 1990’s, Mr. Sheung invested in the Port of Tangshan by establishing Xintongtai Storage and Logistics Company (“Xin Tong Tai”) with facilities covering 33 acres. Xintongtai is a joint venture with the Tangshan Port Authorities and Mr. Sheung owned 33% of the company. Mr. Sheung acted as a Director of the company and was responsible for all major marketing activities and coordinating all affairs with the joint venture partner and other strategic partners. Mr. Sheung left the company in 2011.
Between 2006 and 2008, Mr. Sheung was also involved in a Chinese-American joint venture that utilized a new technology to retrieve residual oil from existing oil wells. In 2009, Mr. Sheung diverted into commercial property development business. In 2012, Mr. Sheung acted as director and CEO of Wanxing Property Development Company and Golden Imperial Garden Development Company in Pizhou, Jiangsu Province. The two companies have about 2 million sq. ft. commercial properties and 1 million sq. ft. residential properties under development.
Mr. Young received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from University of British Columbia in 1963, and a Master of Engineering degree in Civil & Structural engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada in 1972.
Mr. Young is the principal of Young Engineering Corporation, a professional engineering consulting firm in construction industry since 1975. He is also president of Landtek Properties Ltd., a real estate development company and president of Coreng Construction Corporation, a company providing project and construction management and general contracting services. Mr. Young has numerous years of experience in international trading, project syndication and financing. Mr. Young was listed in the “Who's Who in British Columbia” and “International Who’s Who of Professionals”
Prior to becoming the founding partner of Globalink, Mr. Young was the founder, President and CEO and Director of Global Pacific Telecom.
Ms. Andrea Yuan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)/Certified General Accountant (CGA) in British Columbia and a Certified Public Accountant in New Hampshire. Ms. Yuan obtained her Bachelor of Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 1994. Ms. Yuan started her career as an internal auditor and then as team head of the internal audit department at the Bank of China's Shanghai Pudong branch in China from 1994 through to 1999. After arriving in Canada in spring of 1999, Ms. Yuan worked as an accountant at a small accounting firm while she worked towards her CGA designation.
Ms. Yuan moved to Davidson and Company LLP, Chartered Accountants, in 2004 where she worked in the firm’s audit group. From November 2006 until 2009, Ms. Yuan was employed as an audit manager at Davidson. From 2009 until October 2011, Ms. Yuan was employed as an audit principal at Davidson. In addition to overseeing a variety of Canadian public company audits, she was also responsible for conducting the audits of various foreign public companies including Chinese and Korean companies.
Ms. Yuan started her own financial and management consulting company Black Dragon Financial Consulting Services Inc. in November 2011. Currently, Ms. Yuan acts as Chief Financial Officer or financial consultant for several public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Ms. Yuan is fluent in both English and Mandarin (oral and written). Ms. Yuan obtained her Bachelor of Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 1994. Ms. Yuan became a Certified General Accountant in British Columbia in 2005 and a Certified Public Accountant in New Hampshire in 2007.
Mr. Yao has extensive management experience in many industries with many companies. Mr. Yao started work at National Planning Commission, Department of National Defense from 1977 to 1981. In 1981, Mr. Yao worked as Deputy General Manager of China Cultural Development Company Ltd., a subsidiary of China Social Technological School, focusing on importing and exporting books and literature. At the same time, Mr. Yao also worked as faculty at Politics and Economics Department of China People’s University. Starting from 1987, Mr. Yao moved into the corporate arena. From 1987 up to now, Mr. Yao was employed in various management positions: General Manager of Zande Property Development Ltd. (HK, real estate development), Deputy Manager of United Mechanical & Electronic Company Ltd. (HK, import and export of machinery and electronics), Manager of Kaweist Trading Company Ltd. (HK, import and export of medical device), Manager of Lingyun International Company Ltd. (HK, import of airplane engine parts). Currently, Mr. Yao is General Manager of TangShan Xintongtai Storage and Transportation Company Ltd., a company involved in storage, transportation and logistics business.
Mr. Yan Zhuang is a professional manager in pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Mr. Zhuang received his bachelor degree in international trading from Zhejiang University in 1994, and Master in Business Administration (MBA) in 2007 from Zhejiang University and University of Management and Technology. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Zhuang is Vice President of Hainan Qunli Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., in charge of facility construction and equipment selection and installation, and tea polyphenol product research, development and sales. From 2000 to 2011, Mr. Zhuang was founder and General Manager of Zhejiang Newcovery Biotech Co., Ltd., a company focusing on developing TCM/herbal active ingredient and herbal extraction and purification technologies. It developed about 120 single standard research projects for government institutes and was also involved in major national science programs. Mr. Zhuang joined Zhejiang J&S Biotech Co., Ltd. as senior consultant from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Mr. Zhuang is general manager of Globalink’s Chinese subsidiary focusing on gingko plantation cultivation and gingko products development and sales.
